Qigong for anti-aging

anti-aging-qigongSupplements and herbal medicines are raging in western countries. We all know that these can aid various diseases, but do you know that there is this ancient practice that can restore body health?  This is called Qigong. Qigong is originated in China 5000 years ago. It comes from the words “Qi” ( read as Chi) which means life force, while “gong” denotes daily effort.  There are lots of people, generations after generations, have been benefited with Qigong. People started to realize this healing art because of acupuncture, Reiki, and Polarity Therapy. Controlling your inner Chi or prana through Qigong provides improvement for our health and is a solution for anti-aging. It is also believe to be a key for stress management only if we knew the proper way of doing it.

It was in 1997, the China’s Exercise for Health: Medical Qigong book confirmed that the best form of Qigong is the Zhineng Qigong.  It was Dr. Pang Ming, Qigong Grandmaster, who pioneered the Zhineng Qigong that he even set up a gathering place called the Qigong Healing and Training Center for people who want to be cured through this type of health enhancing, as well as to give training.

Countless people who participate to be cured were first examined by orthodox medical doctors. They see to it, before patients enter into the center, that there were no supplements or specific diets are used for healing the patients but only to practice Qigong together. Then in 1991, an information from the Summary of Zhineng Qigong’s Healing Effects on Chronic Disease which was announced by Qigong Master Luke Chan stated that in 7,936 patients, there is a healing rate 94.96% of which 15.20% were cured, 37.68% proves very effective and 42.09% to be effective. These data was confirmed by orthodox medical doctors.

After all, the center was banned in 2001 because the government sees it as a political group like the Falon Gong group. They had forbidden whatever types of large gatherings related with Qigong. However, today, Qigong practice remains in most parts of China. Some instructors who went to other countries like Malaysia and Europe teach Zhineng Qigong as a practice to benefit health from stress and other illnesses.

If you have decided to try this powerful technique of healing, great discipline is needed. The Phase One consists of three main movement sequences that need to be done carefully and intelligently. A dedication to practice it every day for 100 consecutive days is needed or else you would need to start all over again if you miss just a day. With continued practice and dedication, you will be able to achieve the results you ultimately desire.
