Supplements and herbal medicines are raging in western countries. We all know that these can aid various diseases, but do you know that there is this ancient practice that can restore body health? This is called Qigong. Qigong is originated in China 5000 years ago. It comes from the words “Qi” ( read as Chi) which means life force, while “gong” denotes daily effort. There are lots of people, generations after generations, have been benefited with Qigong. People started to realize this healing art because of acupuncture, Reiki, and Polarity Therapy. Controlling your inner Chi or prana through Qigong provides improvement for our health and is a solution for anti-aging. It is also believe to be a key for stress management only if we knew the proper way of doing it.
Nowadays, looking young is what we desire. We are preoccupied on how we can look younger.
There have been endless studies by well-known medical institutes that link regular amounts of exercise to longer life spans and improved health. Unfortunately a lot of these facts and figures land on deaf ears, and due to lack of time or lack of interest, thousands of people continue with their less than healthy life styles.
Now a day’s it seems as if everybody is worrying about his or her appearance, we constantly feel like parts of our body are too small, too big, too fat, sagging, too dark, etc the list is endless. Along with this increasing concern of how we look there is an equally large and growing beauty industry; providing us with the latest and most effective anti aging products.
As we get older the effects of our environment and our diet choices start to build up and affect our skin. Its colour appears bland and lifeless, and it doesn’t have the same bounce that it once did. The exact reasons are not known, but it could be due to a number of factors, such as air pollution, physical wear, the rays from the sun; or even a lack of fresh water.
There are many different relaxed ways of spending your leisure time and some of them might even include physical exercises, such as walking for example. However, if you want to spend your time a little bit more active and still do not want to spend hours in a gym sweating and suffering, then you should try some nice effective alternative to walking. In our hectic urban world, there is a nice new type of climbing: stair climbing. This exercise helps to have fun and at the same time easily brings you into good shape, tightening your abs and improving leg muscles. Besides, stair climbing is considered to be one of the most essential cardiovascular exercises.
People should get more concerned about their skin while spending lots of time outdoors. This is definitely not good to expose yourself to the burning rays of the sun trying to figure out how dark your skin can get, because this violent action will definitely call for revenge from your body’s side. It is good to apply sunscreen consistently even when it is not so hot outside and protect yourself from premature aging and lower the risk of having skin cancer. The last two points should be the best motivators, so any other opposition for the sun screen use should be useless.
